Information
A food cart that appears in the park, with a menu for micro performances. The menu items capture repertoires of food-related concepts from past performance works and anew, such as “Airport Bathroom,” “X x Y =1,” “Cliché of Romance” or “Diseases with Complications.” Sasamoto takes orders from the audience/customer. A vignette follows each order, riffing off of the audience, using small props like cooking utensils, the knife shoes, and food. The menu will be updated each time Food Rental is performed.
